Dorcus Ministry — Compassion, Generosity & Vulnerable Family Support
Meeting people where they are, with dignity and practical compassion.
To respond compassionately to individuals and families experiencing immediate physical and material vulnerability.
Inspired by the biblical example of Dorcas (Tabitha), whose life was characterised by kindness and generosity toward people in need, Dorcus Ministry demonstrates God’s love through practical compassion — particularly to widows, elderly women and men, orphans and families facing significant material hardship. In 2025 the ministry served five vulnerable families, and it will expand progressively as resources, partnerships and community capacity increase.
