Equipping Hearts for Prison Ministry in Kaberamaido

On September 4–5, 2026, Tumaini Ministries Uganda partnered with the Kaberamaido Pastors and Elders Fellowship (KAPEF) to host a two-day prison ministry and Bible study training at the PAG Town Church offices in Kaberamaido.

Eight new volunteers, three returning volunteers, and the chaplain were trained to serve inmates at the nearby Kaberamaido Government Prison. The training focused on personal discovery, sound biblical knowledge, and practical skills for ministering effectively to inmates.

Volunteers were drawn from several churches under the KAPEF umbrella, and the training was led by Pr. Stephen Ajali, Pr. Omoding Stephen, and Sylvia Nyakecho. The KAPEF Secretary attended throughout, with the Chairperson joining part of the sessions.

By all accounts, the training was a resounding success — equipping a fresh team of volunteers to bring True Hope Everyday to men and women behind prison walls.
